Dr Rich Guerra DDS

Doctor Rich Guerra was born in Chicago and grew up in the Historic Pullman community. For High school he attended Thornwood High school where he played baseball and excelled as a student. He is proud to be an Illini having received his undergraduate education at The University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.

He then attended The University of Illinois at Chicago for his dental education, graduating in 2008.

Shortly thereafter he began investigating implant dentistry and on the advice of several specialists in the field placed his first implant on his father in 2009. This experience furthered his admiration for his fathers courage as well as his interest in becoming the top implant dentist in Chicago.

He then began taking advanced implant dentistry courses and worked to master the placement and restoration of implants. As he was sure this was his passion he made a big investment in instruments and supplies pertaining to implants.

Dr Rich explained, "I will be the first to admit I had zero takers when I first offered my implants at $1,700. I quickly realized that at $500 I could place implants at a profit and gain valuable experience. 2 years and hundreds of implants later and I have not changed my price.

In my spare time I am an avid 12 inch softball player for the Baseknocks. I pitch and can easily be distinguished by my catchers mask. I enjoy snowboarding, and surfing the ocean when I get the opportunity. I am also an avid fisherman, though unfortunately do not get the opportunity to fish as often as I would like these days. I am also a pet lover and provide a great home to Eddy the cat."
